Pallet shipment
Some products are too large, too heavy or too fragile to send by regular mail. To ensure that these products are delivered intact, we have the option to have these products delivered to you on a pallet. The costs for a pallet shipment are;
The Netherlands: €79.95
Belgium: €114.95
Germany: €189.95
A pallet shipment does not have a free order amount.
After placing the order, we will contact you to agree on a delivery date/delivery time. This way you know how long it will take before we can send the pallet and when you can expect it.
When a pallet is delivered, this will be communicated in advance via automatic message. You will receive a date and expected time slot on which the driver is expected to be with you and you must ensure that the pallet is received yourself at the first delivery attempt. If the pallet cannot be delivered during the first delivery attempt because, for example, no one is home, a second delivery will be made and the above shipping costs will also be charged a second time.
A pallet will always be delivered to the driveway/sidewalk. You must take care of moving it yourself from the place of delivery to the place where it will be placed. Is an aquarium large/heavy? Then make sure there is lifting assistance on the day of delivery.
Sizes
The aforementioned pallet prices apply to a maximum pallet size of 80*120cm. If an aquarium is larger than 120cm, it will take up 2 pallet spaces and an additional €29.95 will be charged. If an aquarium is larger than 120cm, the €29.95 will automatically be charged extra via the webshop because we already add these ‘’extra costs’’ to the prices of these larger aquariums. These will therefore not come afterwards.
Damage
It can happen that a pallet shipment is damaged during transport. Before signing for the shipment, it is advisable to check the packaging/exterior and goods for damage. If damage is found, have the driver note this upon delivery before you sign for receipt! Take sufficient photos of visible damage to the packaging/exterior and interior and send them to us within 3 hours of delivery. Pallet shipments are always insured for transport damage and we will then look for a suitable solution.
Delivery time
Large aquariums / products are sometimes delivered by ourselves and sometimes directly from the supplier. The delivery time of a pallet shipment is always in consultation and after placing your order we will first contact you to give an indication of the delivery time. In most cases this is a matter of a number of working days, but we will look together at what suits you best.
Pickup
Large products that are normally shipped on a pallet, such as large aquariums and cabinets, can be collected at our location in Drachten at any time. In the check-out while completing the order, you can choose to collect on location (Drachten). Pick-up is completely free of charge and if an aquarium larger than 120cm has been charged an additional €29.95 for the product, you will receive this back from us after checkout. Large aquariums that we first have to order from the supplier before they can be picked up must be paid for in full in advance before they are ordered.
