The Superfish Scaper LED RGB takes things a step further than standard white lighting. By adding red, green, and blue LEDs, you completely transform the look of your tank. Red plants (such as Ludwigia or Alternanthera) respond especially well, showing deeper and more intense colors than ever before. Your fish also benefit: species like cardinal tetras or brightly colored shrimp appear almost luminous.
Lumens vs Spectrum
Don’t be put off by the lower lumen values in the table below compared to the standard Scaper LED. Lumens mainly describe how we perceive light, while plants thrive on specific RGB wavelengths. So while the light may appear less “bright” to the eye, it actually delivers a more powerful spectrum for plant growth and color rendering. In the table below, you’ll find all available sizes.
