HS Aqua Humalit 5 Pro – Nutrient Substrate

HS aqua Humalit Pro is a nutrient substrate for aquarium plants that consists of several components and is composed of: laterite, pH stabilizer, mineral carrier material, porous granules, and a humus component.

• Laterite is a component found in tropical soils where aquarium plants originally grow. This material is especially effective at absorbing nutrients and trace elements from the water and supplying them to the plants.
• The pH stabilizer creates an ideal substrate environment necessary for nutrient absorption.
• The mineral carrier material provides support for the roots and allows for an even distribution of nutrients—without risk of over-fertilization.
• The porous granules provide a habitat for beneficial substrate bacteria.
• Organic granules supply the plants with humic substances.

Application and Use

• Cover the bottom with a layer of approximately 2 cm of nutrient substrate. A 2.5-liter bucket is sufficient for aquariums up to 70 cm.
• Cover this layer with approximately 5 cm of gravel or sand.
