Aquascaping can sometimes seem complicated when you have to select individual stones and wood pieces. With the Dennerle Decor Bonsai Box, you can skip the hassle of putting everything together. Inside the box, you will find a handmade bonsai in the 'Kengai' form (waterfall style) and three matching grey Seegebirge stones. Everything is ready to be placed directly in your aquarium.
The set consists of 100% natural materials. Since these are natural products, every tree and stone is unique in shape and texture. This means that every aquarium will have its own original character.

The dimensions make this box particularly suitable for nano aquariums from 30 litres or as an eye-catching feature in a larger aquarium.
How to use the materials
The Kengai tree forms the centrepiece of your layout. Attach moss such as Java moss or Christmas moss to the branches using fishing line or special aquarium glue. Within a few weeks, it will develop into a full green canopy. Place the three Seegebirge stones around the base of the trunk to recreate a natural rock formation. This immediately adds depth and balance to the overall layout.
Tip for shrimp enthusiasts: Mosses attached to wood provide shelter and food for young shrimp. The gaps between the Seegebirge stones also provide a safe place where small animals can hide during moulting.
Our tip: Rinse the Seegebirge stones and the tree briefly with lukewarm tap water before use to remove any loose dust. As the wooden tree is supplied dry, it may initially float. Press the tree firmly into the substrate and secure the base with one of the supplied stones. After approximately one to two weeks, the wood will have absorbed enough water and will remain on the bottom by itself.
