HS aqua Carbon Superactiv S are pre-washed charcoal products that despite their extremely high capacity for absorption of colour, odour and toxic materials have very little effect on the other water quality parameters (e.g., pH-level).
HS Aqua Superactive Carbon S vs HS Aqua Superactive Carbon L
Both HS Aqua Superactive Carbon S and L are high-quality activated carbons.
- HS Carbon Activ S has a finer grain size of 0.8–1.2 mm and is mainly used for the quick removal of, for example, medication residues.
- HS Carbon Activ L has a coarser grain size of 2–3 mm and is generally used to remove odors, color, and toxins.
