Sera NH4/NH3 Test - Ammonium/Ammonia Test
Ammonium/ammonia initially enters the aquarium through waste from shrimp, crayfish, and fish. With the Sera NH4/NH3 test, you can easily and quickly determine these values.
While ammonium is largely harmless, ammonia is highly toxic to shrimp, crayfish, and fish. The Sera NH4/NH3 test measures the total concentration of both substances. Using the included table, you can determine the actual ammonia level based on the pH value.
A quick water change can resolve the issue. A high NH4 level is often caused by overstocking or an aquarium that has not been properly cycled yet.
Sufficient for approximately 60 measurements.
