Sera Cl Test

A small amount of chloride in aquarium water is not harmful, but higher concentrations can quickly lead to the death of shrimp, crayfish, and fish. Tap water in the Netherlands is usually almost chlorine-free, but pipes are sometimes flushed, which can increase chlorine levels. Additionally, during warm days, more chlorine may be added to the water to prevent diseases.

In case of high chlorine levels, it is best to use filtration with activated carbon.

With the Sera chloride test, you can easily check within seconds whether your water is safe to use in the aquarium.
