No more planting individual blades into the substrate: this 10 x 15 cm stainless steel mesh mat, covered with Needle Grass, can be placed directly on the aquarium floor. The roots will naturally grow into the nutrient-rich substrate or gravel, while the stainless steel mesh gradually disappears from view beneath the green growth.

Eleocharis acicularis forms a fine, grass-like carpet in the foreground. Shrimp and young fish enjoy hiding between the thin blades while searching for leftover food. Because the mat is made from high-quality stainless steel, it will not rust in aquarium water.
