Me Aquaristic Hardscape Fibre: Make Glue Joints Invisible
Bonding wood or stones with super glue often leaves behind white, shiny glue seams. Me Scapix Hardscape Fiber solves this problem. Place these fine fibers between the contact points of your stones or wood before dripping in the Me Aquaristic Hardscape Glue. The fibers immediately absorb the liquid cyanoacrylate glue like a sponge. This offers two benefits: a strong mechanical bond and a seam that blends naturally into the color of your materials.
Because the glue penetrates the entire fiber structure, even smooth stone surfaces bond firmly within seconds.
Choose the Right Color for Your Aquarium Layout
To make the bonded areas virtually invisible, choose the color that best matches your hardscape:
- Brown: Matches driftwood, spiderwood, bonsai wood and brownish rock types.
- Grey: Blends well with Seiryu stones, slate, basalt and dark stone joints.
- Light: Suitable for concealing joints in Dragon Stone, sand-colored rocks and light aquascape designs.
- Red: Ideal for layouts featuring lava rock, clay tones or warm-colored root wood.
How to Use Hardscape Fiber
Place a small tuft of fibers between the two parts you want to join. Don't use too much; a thin layer is sufficient. Then drip the liquid Hardscape Glue directly onto the fibers. The reaction is faster than usual and the bond sets immediately. Once cured, simply blow or brush away any loose fiber residue with a dry brush before filling the aquarium.
