HS-aqua Ectocell Forte is a stronger version of the “regular” Ectocell but can only be used with free-swimming fish. Ectocell Forte is widely applicable and highly effective against bacterial infections and protozoa in freshwater fish in aquariums. Ectocell Forte works against the most common skin diseases, which can sometimes be difficult to recognize. Therefore, Ectocell Forte is a good addition when the exact skin disease is not fully known or difficult to identify.

Indications of a skin disease in ornamental fish may include

• Rubbing against the substrate, stones, or decoration
• White spots or patches on the skin of irregular size
• Fluffy white growths
• Red veins in the fins combined with a white coating
• Rapid breathing together with a white coating on the body or fins
• Frayed fins with white areas

Starting treatment quickly after identifying a fish disease is crucial to maximize the survival chances of the fish. It is also recommended to add a vitamin supplement alongside the medication to boost the health of your fish. After all, sufficient vitamins also help humans stay healthy!

Dosage

Day 1: 40 drops per 100 liters of water, Day 3: 20 drops per 100 liters of water, Day 5: 20 drops per 100 liters of water.
