HS Aqua Automatic Feeder
The HS Aqua automatic feeder is a compact aquarium feeder, fully battery-operated (batteries included). This automatic feeder is simple to use and compatible with most types of food such as flake food, granules, and sticks (max approx. 8 mm).
The feeder has a drum capacity of 100 milliliters. The amount of food dispensed can be adjusted using a black slider on the top, which changes the size of the drum opening. The feeder comes with a funnel tray that allows it to be placed above an opening in the aquarium cover, and it also includes a mounting clamp for attaching it to the glass edge of an open aquarium.
The HS Aqua automatic feeder can be used in 3 different modes:
- manual rotation: pressing the manual button causes the drum to make one rotation. This allows you to test the feeding amount directly and set your own feeding time per day.
- 24-hour mode: pressing this button causes the drum to rotate once every 24 hours. The time at which you press the button for the first time becomes the daily feeding time.
- 12-hour mode: pressing this button causes the drum to rotate once every 12 hours. The first press time and 12 hours later are the two daily feeding times.
The automatic feeder comes with 2 AA 1.5V batteries (non-rechargeable). We recommend replacing or recharging the batteries (if using rechargeable ones) after each vacation. Ensure the food remains dry during use to prevent clogging in the feeder.
