The brown oval medium breeding caves are suitable for the little more firm L-numbers op to 12 cm like the L102, L129, L136, L144, L181, L199, L201, L236, L260, L262 and L397. The oval breeding caves are smooth on the outside and are made of brown ceramic. The oval breeding caves are proven to be very effective with the above-mentioned L-numbers.
For breeding, we always recommend using multiple shapes and sizes of breeding caves so that the L-numbers can choose for themselves which they find the most suitable for breeding or to hide in.
By using ceramic you are always assured of a natural look and sufficient adhesive surface for the eggs.The rough surface also ensures that you can easily attach moss or aquarium plants to it.
