Aqua Master Tools pH Electrode with BNC Connector

Is your pH meter responding slowly or can it no longer be calibrated? The reference solution in the sensor may have become saturated. This replaceable pH electrode from Aqua Master Tools connects directly via the standard BNC connector. Simply unscrew the old connector, attach the new electrode and your meter will be ready to provide accurate measurements again.

Double Junction Technology

Thanks to its double junction design, the reference solution is better protected against contamination. This significantly extends the service life compared to standard single-junction electrodes.

First use and maintenance:

Notice white powdery crystals on the glass or protective cap? Don't worry. These are dried KCl salts that have seeped out of the storage cap. This is a normal occurrence with pH sensors.

Important before first use: Soak the electrode in tap water for at least 12 hours before use. This dissolves the salt crystals and properly activates the glass membrane. After use, always fill the protective cap with KCl storage solution (do not allow the electrode to dry out or store it in reverse osmosis water).

Our tip: Never store a pH electrode in RO or distilled water. Reverse osmosis water draws ions out of the reference solution through diffusion, which can quickly render the sensor unusable. Only use KCl storage solution in the protective cap to maximise the electrode's service life.
