Looking for a reliable way to hide filters, hoses or heaters? Vallisneria spiralis quickly grows to a height of up to 60 centimetres. Its narrow, ribbon-like leaves form a dense bed along the back wall in no time. Plant it in the substrate and let the plant do the work.

Easy Background Plant

This species has very few requirements when it comes to water parameters or lighting. It also thrives perfectly well in aquariums without additional CO₂.

Please note when planting: After transport or when water parameters change, older leaves may become translucent or turn yellow. Simply leave the plant in place. The growing point is located at the base and will produce fresh, bright green leaves within a few days.
