Chihiros Commander 1 – Bluetooth Edition

Manual dimmers offer limited control. You may forget to switch on the lighting, or the lights may suddenly switch to full power. This can cause stress for your fish and encourage algae growth. With the Chihiros Commander 1, you can connect your lighting directly to your smartphone via Bluetooth.

With the free My Chihiros app, you can set daily lighting schedules down to the minute. The controller replaces the standard factory dimmer between the power supply and the light. From that point on, the transition from darkness to light takes place gradually. A natural sunrise and sunset helps prevent startle reactions in the aquarium. You can also precisely adjust the light intensity to suit the lighting requirements of your aquarium plants.

Have multiple aquariums? In the app, you can easily group different lights together. This allows you to control everything from a single overview. What happens if there is a power outage? The built-in memory retains the programmed schedule. As soon as power is restored, the lighting immediately resumes the programmed schedule.

Our tip

Do not let the lighting ramp up from 0% to 100% within 5 minutes. Use a sunrise period of at least 30 to 45 minutes. This gives plants time to gradually start their photosynthesis and prevents shy fish species or shrimp from being startled.
