Our tip: In a 1-metre aquarium, large pieces of driftwood or rocks often create shaded areas. Thanks to this light's wide spread, you can minimise these shadows by mounting the fixture approximately 5 to 10 cm above the water surface (if you're not using a hood). This significantly increases the light spread.
