Since Twinstar introduced the first WRGB technology in 2016, they haven’t stood still. This 2025 edition has been completely redesigned to deliver even higher light output and a perfectly balanced color spectrum.

The 30B III is specifically designed for smaller aquariums (30 to 36 cm) where both fish and plants take center stage. While many entry-level lights produce a “flat” white light, Twinstar uses advanced WRGB technology. This enhances red, green, and blue tones in your plants and fish, while keeping the light natural and pleasant to the eye.

Control it your way

The Twinstar 30B III offers two ways to manage your lighting schedule:

1. Direct control: Using the physical buttons on the cable, you can choose from 7 brightness levels and easily set the timer to 6, 8, or 10 hours. Both sunrise and sunset are simulated over a fixed 10-minute period (not adjustable).
2. App control (optional): Want full control? By connecting the separately available Bluetooth controller, you can use the Twinstar app to adjust brightness in 100 steps and set sunrise and sunset durations of up to 60 minutes.

Our tips for the Twinstar 30B III:

• Start gently with a new aquascape: Just set up a new aquarium? Use the manual control to run the light at 50% or 60% power during the first few weeks. Thanks to the high intensity of the BIII, this gives your plants time to establish roots while preventing algae from taking over.
