Exosal

Manaus Exosal is a broad-spectrum medication for the treatment of bacterial infections and external parasites in fish. Use Exosal when the diagnosis is uncertain and the cause of the disease is unknown or unclear.

General signs of disease in fish

Externally recognizable behavioral changes in fish may include:

• Rocking or swaying movements in place
• Fading or darkening of colors
• Isolation from the group
• Refusal to eat
• Fish staying only at the bottom or near the water surface
• Indefinable deposits on the skin
• Open wounds or ulcers
• Protruding scales
• Disintegrating fins (especially starting from the edges)
• Bulging eyes on one or both sides
• Cotton-like or white deposits on the mouth and body
• Unnatural increase in abdominal circumference

Dosage and application

• Day 1: 2 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water
• Day 2: 1 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water
• Day 3: no dosage, but a 50% water change
• Day 4–6: no dosage
• Day 7: 2 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water
• Day 8: no dosage, but a 50% water change

Adjust the number of milliliters or drops to the volume of your own aquarium.

During this treatment with Exosal, no active filter media (such as activated carbon or phosphate removers) may be used. UV lamps must also be switched off.
