Trichosal

Manaus Trichosal has been specially developed for the treatment of bacterial infections, fungal infections, and skin parasites on the skin of fish.

Recognizing symptoms of disease

• Bacteria: white spots around the mouth, damaged fins, reddish ulcers on the skin.
• Fungi: clear, fluffy cotton-like growths on the skin and on fish eggs.
• Skin parasites: satin-like film over the fish, very small clear spots on the skin and fins.

In general, sick fish stop eating.

Dosage and application

• Day 1: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water
• Day 2: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water
• In persistent cases, also on Day 3 and Day 5: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water

During this treatment with Trichosal, no active filter media (such as activated carbon or phosphate remover) may be used. UV lamps must also be switched off.
