Chihiros B30: Smart RGB lighting for medium-sized aquariums

The Chihiros B30 is the perfect solution for aquariums between 30 and 50 cm in width. While many standard lights in this segment only provide white light, the B30 adds 6 RGB 3-in-1 LEDs to its 24 white LEDs. This makes the natural colors of fish and plants appear deeper and more vibrant. The 8000K color temperature gives the water a bright, fresh look without appearing unnatural.

Control is fully handled via Bluetooth using the “My Chihiros” app. This allows you to easily program a natural sunrise and sunset. Your fish will no longer be startled by sudden light changes. Thanks to the extendable brackets, the lamp sits securely on glass up to 8 mm thick, making it ideal for both rimless aquariums and standard tanks.

Our tip

The B30 has relatively high output for its size. Are you using this model on a 30 cm aquarium? Then the light concentration in the center can be quite intense. To prevent “hotspots” (areas with excessive algae growth directly under the lamp), we recommend placing the lamp at least 5 cm above the water surface or limiting the intensity to 70% in the app during the first weeks.
