Chihiros B20: Compact RGB lighting for nano aquariums

The Chihiros B20 is specifically designed for small aquariums between 20 and 30 cm in width. Where standard lighting often falls short in color rendering for nano tanks, the B20 uses 6 RGB 3-in-1 LEDs to bring out the red and blue tones of your fish and shrimp. Meanwhile, the 24 white LEDs (8000K) provide a bright, fresh appearance and support plant growth without giving the water a yellowish tint.

You no longer need an external dimmer or timer. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth controller, you can connect the light directly to the “My Chihiros” app. This allows you to accurately simulate sunrise and sunset, preventing your fish from being startled by sudden lighting changes. The extendable brackets are sturdy and securely fit glass thicknesses up to 8 mm.

Our tip

Using the B20 above a shrimp tank with moss? Pay attention to the intensity. Because the light sits quite close to the water surface in a nano aquarium, 100% power is often too much and can quickly lead to hair algae. Start at 50% power in the app and observe how your moss responds. The colors of your shrimp (especially Caridina species) usually look best at 60–70% power without your aquarium becoming overrun with algae.
