HS-aqua Fungicell

HS-aqua Fungicell is used to treat fungal infections (Saprolegnia or Achlya spec.) in freshwater fish in aquariums. Fungal infections in fish are often contagious and can be recognized by fungus growth on the outside of the fish. Fungi often develop around wounds and/or other open areas.

Starting treatment quickly after identifying a fish disease is crucial to maximize the survival chances of the fish. It is also recommended to add a vitamin supplement alongside the medication to boost the health of your fish. After all, sufficient vitamins also help humans stay healthy!

Symptoms for which Fungicell can be used: fungal growth on the fish / appears as threads or “cotton-like” patches on the fish.

Dosage

Dosing can be done using two methods.

Bath method: Dose 25 drops per 50 liters of aquarium water. The dosage can be repeated every 24 hours with 10 drops per 50 liters of water if the symptoms have not yet disappeared. The problems usually resolve within 3–6 days.

Spot treatment method: This method is used when only a few fish are infected. Apply Fungicell directly to the fungal spot using a cotton swab and then return the fish to the aquarium.
