Which plants is the Twinstar E-Line suitable for?
The E-Line delivers significantly higher light output than the B-Line, making it ideal for:
- Demanding carpeting plants: Want a dense green “lawn” of HC Cuba or Glossostigma? The E-Line provides enough power to support these plants properly.
- Deep red stem plants: Species such as Rotala Macrandra or well-known Ludwigia varieties require this powerful spectrum to maintain their vivid coloration.
- Tall aquariums: If your aquarium is deeper than 50 cm, the E-Line penetrates more effectively to the substrate, ensuring even the smallest plants receive sufficient energy.

Our tips for the E-Line
- Use the light planner: Due to the high power of the E-Line, we strongly recommend using the 25-day planner for newly set up aquariums. This greatly reduces start-up algae issues.
- CO₂ fertilization: Because of the high light intensity, combining the E-Line with a proper CO₂ system is recommended. Your plants will use the extra energy for rapid and healthy growth.
