Description
Fish House with Java Moss
Shrimp and small fish love to find safe places to hide. This small bamboo cave is covered all around with living Java moss. It immediately provides a natural hiding place and a source of micro-food in one.
Natural Food and Shelter
Microorganisms quickly gather among the fine strands of the moss, which shrimp love to graze on. The moss is attached to a bamboo base. Place the element directly on the substrate; it will sink naturally and continue to grow steadily under almost any lighting conditions.
Specifications
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Base | bamboo |
| Plant | Taxiphyllum barbieri (Java moss) |
| Dimensions | approx. 8 x 5 cm |
| Light requirements | low to medium |
Our tip: After a few weeks, lightly trim the top of the moss with aquascaping scissors. This encourages the Java moss to branch out more compactly, prevents the lower layer from dying back due to insufficient light, and gives the house a neat, full shape.

Leuk element in 't aquarium en er wordt goed gebruik van gemaakt. De slakken, algeneters en jonge visjes zijn al op visite geweest.
