• Placement: Always install the adapter in the outflow hose (the hose running from the filter to the aquarium). If installed in the inflow hose, nutrients may get trapped in the filter media and be less effective in the aquarium.
• Maintenance: Rinse the adapter occasionally during regular cleaning of your filter hoses. Since plant nutrients can thicken over time, this helps prevent the narrow dosing channel from clogging.

Important to know

• Not compatible with the Chihiros Inline Heater: the Dosing Flow Adapter cannot be directly connected to the Chihiros Inline Heater.
• Avoid use with acidic liquids: the material of the adapter is sensitive to acids (pH below 5.5). To prevent corrosion, fertilizers and liquids with a low pH value should be avoided.
