With the AquaMaster Tools E50 pro2 conductivity meter, you can directly measure the exact EC value and temperature in your aquarium. This successor to the well-known E50 pro has been improved in several areas: instead of small button cells, this model uses standard AAA batteries. The new black display with white digits also provides excellent readability under different conditions.

Aquarium plants and shrimp are highly sensitive to fluctuations in dissolved minerals. The E50 pro2 helps you dose enriched RO water or plant fertiliser with an accuracy of one-tenth or one-hundredth of a mS/cm. You can switch between 1 or 2 decimal places on the display. Accidentally dropping the meter into the water is no problem. The housing is IP67 waterproof and floats. If the sensor wears out after intensive use, you can simply screw on a replacement electrode without having to purchase an entirely new device.

Key improvements of the Pro2

• Operates on 2 standard 1.5V AAA batteries (included).
• Inverted LCD display (black with white characters) for enhanced contrast.
• Selectable resolution: choose between 0.01 or 0.1 mS/cm readings.
• Automatic calibration reminder: the icon disappears exactly 30 days after calibration.
• Rubberised back for a secure grip when your hands are wet.

Calibration and maintenance

The E50 pro2 features digital manual calibration. You can calibrate it using your preferred calibration solution, such as the well-known 1413 µS/cm (1.41 mS/cm) buffer solution. Once calibration is complete, an indicator appears on the display. After 30 days, this icon automatically disappears, so you know exactly when it is time to recalibrate the meter.
