Our tip

Do not place the Aqua Della trap in the middle of an open sand area. Snails prefer to move along objects. Position the trap against the glass or next to a cluster of plants where you see the most snails. Are you dealing with very small burrowing snails living in the substrate? Gently press the trap slightly into the substrate (not too deep!), so the entrance sits right at the boundary between sand and water. They will crawl right in as soon as they come up to feed.
