Benibachi pure red line shrimp

Benibachi pure red line (PRL) shrimps from our own breed. These are out-selected shrimp that do not meet our standards and therefore go out of our group. Reasons for selection can be: no perfect color coverige or abnormalities in the pattern.

Obviously when you breed with these shrimp you can get full pure red line shrimp which are strong in color and with a nive pattern.

Pure red line shrimp?

Pure red line shrimp are never crossed with other bee shrimps such as crystal black and snow white shrimp. The descendants of these shrimp will therefore be 100% crystal red shrimp.

There is also a strong selection taking place where there is selected on color intensity and pattern. Ultimately, only the full pure red line will be present with perfect colors and patterns. The older a pure red line shrimp gets, the better the color. This is in (normal) bees often reversed.

Benibachi pure red line is a strain that has been set up by benibachi.

The aquarium

These shrimp have no special demands for the aquarium. You can already keep the shrimp in an aquarium from 15 liter. The aquarium can be best well planted, with some pieces off moss. A piece of driftwood is recommended because shrimp graze on the microorganisms.

Nutrition

These shrimps eat almost anything they can find. You can think of dead plants, feces of other aquarium inhabitants, food sticks, etc. The shrimp keep a beautiful color when they get a lot of different types of food. In our webshop, you can order special shrimp food. If you mix a few types of food, you have a pretty complete food for the shrimp.

Breeding

Whenyou want to breed these shrimp, they can keepbest be kept on apH-lowering soil.The shrimplikea somewhatsofter and moreacidic water.The female wears blackeggs underhertailfor 3 to4weeks, after whichtheshrimp areborn alive.Youngshrimparesexually maturewithin 5 to 6months. The shrimphaveabout 30 eggs per time.
