Manacil

Manaus Manacil has been specially developed for the treatment of white spot disease and other single-celled skin parasites in fish, such as the heart-shaped skin parasite Chilodonella, the bean-shaped skin parasite Ichthyobodo (syn. Costia) necator, a flagellate, as well as Trichodina and other parasites in ornamental fish in freshwater aquariums.

Recognizing white spot and skin parasites

• White spots (resembling grains of semolina) on the skin and fins (Ichthyophthirius)
• White or gray patches visible on the skin (other parasites)
• Sick fish often stop eating, clamp their fins, and become skittish

Dosage and application

• Day 1: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water
• Day 3: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water
• In persistent cases, also on Day 5: 1 ml per 40 liters of aquarium water

During this treatment with Manacil, no active filter media (such as activated carbon or phosphate remover) may be used. UV lamps must also be switched off.
